Vanilla Cashew Milk

When I first went Vegan dairy was the hardest thing to give up, but it soon got much easier once I realized how good I felt! I was buying store bought almond milk until last year I decided to try and experiment with nut milk. It always sounded so complicated, what's a cheese clothe? What do I do with the almond meal? I'm one for quick and easy so when I discovered that cashews don't need to be peeled or filtered they became my go to! Cashew milk is sooo easy and delicious! I do recommend soaking the nuts as it makes for a creamier flavor but it is definitely not required! You can soak for as little or as long as you feel, up to about 8 hours. Store in a mason jar for up to a week. Enjoy!
