Alexa Jesse is a singer-songwriter whose music is deeply rooted in storytelling, emotional honesty, and human connection. What began as a personal creative outlet during a period of grief has grown into a dynamic career spanning genres, collaborators, and stages.
She has performed with a San Francisco funk band, co-headlined a sold-out show at Public Works nightclub in San Francisco, and collaborated with producers including Bay Area duo Host Bodies and Northern California producer KAPHA. She has been mentored by Heather Christie, singer, producer, and founder of Moonbabe Records, and honed her craft studying vocals with Pamela Parker, a vocal producer and engineer with over two decades at the legendary Hyde Street Studios.
Equally at home in intimate house concerts and large-scale events, Alexa brings rare emotional depth to every performance. Her voice blends honey and gravel with an unmistakable sultry weight and her songwriting draws comparisons to Stevie Nicks and Fiona Apple, with a cinematic, confessional quality reminiscent of Lana Del Rey.
